Are you ready to explore REAL flying YOUR way with your DJI Drone?

DJI Drones can live on in the US as long as we support the effort, whether it be a real solution dealing with security issues being imposed or finding our own solution, voicing the need for software work arounds. We believe that a third party software can be the answer for now and for the future of the drone hobby. The drone community is huge and banning together for the benefit of all drone pilots from all walks of life is in all our best interests.

In the meantime…

Here’s a good alternative to DJI software, if you have most any DJI drone except the MINI SERIES

The Litchi app is a third-party flight planning application specifically designed for DJI consumer and prosumer drones. It allows for waypoint missions, automated flights, and advanced camera control that the standard DJI app often lacks.

Important Notes:

  • Drone 2 & DJI Mini Series: Litchi does not support the DJI Mini series (Mini, Mini 2, Mini 3, Mini 4 Pro, Mini SE) or the DJI Air series (Air 2, Air 2S, Air 3) directly, nor the Mavic 3 series in some older versions, though updates have occasionally added support for newer models like the Mavic 3. Correction: Litchi does support the Mavic 3 series, Mavic Air 2/2S, but generally does not support the DJI Mini series or the DJI Air 3 as of recent updates.
  • Enterprise Models: While some Enterprise models (like the Mavic 2 Enterprise) work, newer enterprise-specific drones (like the Mavic 3 Enterprise) are often not supported.
  • App Version: Always check the official Litchi Hub or the app store listing for the most current compatibility list, as support can change with firmware updates at https://flylitchi.com
A clean overhead photographic view of a DJI drone unassembled on a dark matte workbench, each arm, propeller, battery, and gimbal component laid out with precise spacing like an exploded diagram. Around the main body, neatly arranged DJI-branded batteries, ND filters, spare props, and a compact controller suggest a comprehensive parts and accessories guide. Cool, diffused studio lighting from above creates minimal reflections and crisp, technical shadows that emphasize contours and textures. The background fades subtly at the edges, keeping focus on the gear. The composition is symmetrical and engineered, with a bold, high-contrast aesthetic that feels like an informative comparison layout for drone enthusiasts of all skill levels.

A close-up, photographic macro-style shot of a DJI drone camera gimbal and attached ND filter, mounted on a folded drone resting on a brushed aluminum surface. Every detail of the lens coating, gimbal motors, and tiny engraved markings on the filter ring is rendered in razor-sharp clarity. Soft, diffused overhead lighting creates gentle specular highlights on the metal and glass while keeping reflections controlled and technical. The background falls into a smooth, dark gradient bokeh, hinting at other out-of-focus DJI accessories like spare props and a compact case. The composition is tight and centered, evoking the feel of a precision product showcase ideal for explaining image quality, camera specs, and filter choices for DJI pilots.
